Cathkin S1's comment....
Some of our S1 pupils who came up to Cathkin High last August are going to tell you about their experiences of the move. Read their comments here, and then leave your own.
Hi there you don't need to worry about Cathkin because all the teachers are friendly unless you get on their bad side and they will yell at you
You won't get lost because the place is easy to move about in and its easy to find classroom numbers
You need to learn about the one-way system becuase if you go the wrong way the teachers will esnd youy back and they will watch out for you coming back the wrong way so you can't be sneaky all the time ('_'):P
HE is a rubbish lesson tech is well better art is ok but it would be better if they had more languages to learn instead of boring old french

Dont worry about comin up to Cafkin you 'll not get lost and its not scary.you'll not get battered its only a false rumour. u get a map eh the school enyway.Don't be scared.theres a one way system aswell but you will get used to it.Dont be late for classes aswell.you'l get moaned at.you'll will be alright.Art P.E and science are good but a dont really like modern studies (._.)

there are loads of fun subjects like tech, HE and science. You get to do all different things in science. In tech you get to use machines like the sander or the saw.In HE you get to cook and learn to sew. (._.) :)

Hey, I'm a third year at Cathkin and I was worried when I first came up but serriously guys don't stress out because everyone in your class is in the same situation as you..You're all new. The only thing to watch out for is making a good impression with your teachers and of course the one way system but you'll get used to that in time. Good luck
hi it is marcus somehow i have an obsession with commenting on this website.anyway i would like to know how to get information to join a group in cathkin high and i would also like to know if you need permission to read in the library at breaktime or if you're even allowed to.
No problem Marcus....just go along to any group you want to join. Look out for anouncements in the notices on Tuesdays and Fridays, and for posters around the school. The blog and podcast group meets on Thursdays in the OLU (library) at 1315. Hope we see you there.

Cathkin is brilliant.When i came up i was a bit scared about gatting lost though it`s easy when you no where your going.
My best subject is P.E. you do dancing,gymnastics,swimming,basketball,netball,volleyball.My worst sub
ject is french though i`m not good at it!!
I`ve met loads of other friends like caitlin m,eilidh f,kaylieh mc,carla d,emma c,suzanne mc,charlotte c,loads of other folk!

Hi Marcus. Nice to hear freom you. It wont be long until you are up in the High School meeting lots of new teachers and other children.
You will enjoy the new subjects and my advice to all of the First Years is to join lots of clubs and get involved.
